About Martin Backhausen

Martin Backhausen provides decades of knowledge and skill as a successful musician and member of the music business. He has played in a variety of bands during the course of his distinguished 30-year career. He is skilled on several instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, piano, violin, trumpet, and tuba, with musical instrumentation at its heart. He is motivated by his dedication to his family, music, and creativity whether he is at home, in the studio, or in the community.

Martin Backhausen is a skilled music producer, songwriter, and musician who now draws on all of his musical skills. When he's not in the studio, he likes to rock out and nurture his future stars: his kids. He still manages to fit in volunteer work at his neighborhood Boys & Girls Club, free music lessons, and leading the praise squad at his church.

Career in the Profession

Backhausen is a skilled musician, songwriter, and music producer who can read music as well as play musical instruments by ear. He began his professional career as a musician as a member of the youth praise team at his church, as is the case with many music producers. The fact that he was proficient on the guitar, piano, and drums made him stand out right away.

Backhausen, whose ability was on full show, formed an 80s rock band with a couple of his close pals to play popular song covers. The band was routinely scheduled at well-known clubs and venues all across the area. Even top-selling acts passing through the area were invited to play with his cover band as their opening act. Martin Backhausen, an 80s rock band, ventured into punk rock and pop music in the late 1990s. Martin first tried his hand at bass in a jazz ensemble before seeing how far he could go in the R&B and neo-soul genres. He really honed his writing and musical composing talents here.

Backhausen now combines sounds and composes music for practically every industry using his unique cross-genre skills. He is the top producer to turn to for any vocal-driven genre, including punk rock, R&B, country, neo-soul, and more. He collaborates with some of the most well-known musicians in this role to plan compositions, oversee recording sessions, and even make recommendations and improvements to musical effects, instruments, and lyrics. When Martin isn't creating songs, managing project finances, or supervising musical arrangements, he likes finding and nurturing fresh talent.

Academic History

Martin Backhausen stands out among musicians for having the rare talent of playing music by ear. As a result, he only has to hear a song or sound to produce it using a variety of instruments. Despite the fact that his natural ability has always made him a top musician, he went to Full Sail University to hone his skills as a classically trained musician, songwriter, and producer. In 2004, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in music production from Full Sail University. The main goal of this B.S. degree was to provide Backhausen a thorough grasp of music development and production. Additionally, he picked up a number of fundamental ideas and recording techniques that have been crucial to his work. Additionally, he regularly attends training sessions and holds certifications for a number of digital audio workstations (DAWs), including Ableton Live, Image-Line FL Studio, Apple Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Steinberg Cubase, and others.

Backhausen pursued a Master of Music in Music Production at Berklee Online after receiving his B.S. from Full Sail University. The power of DAW-based music technology was merged with the most cutting-edge, inventive methods of music production in this graduate program. Backhausen learned advanced mastering, mixing, and recording techniques through the program. The training also focused on important topics including vocal production, audio for visual media, and business sustainability for independent producers. Today, he blends his academic education with his innate musical skill to create magic both inside and outside the studio.

Individual Life

Martin Backhausen never stops playing music! He met the young cinematography student who would become his wife in 2004 while writing music for an upcoming musician in the Orlando, Florida, region. The two had an instantaneous intonation and struck a chord. The two of them had a great love and enthusiasm for the arts and creativity, albeit Brenda had a preference for movies and television. Martin and Brenda wed in 2009, and in 2013, a boy, their first child, was born. The Backhausen family then welcomed a set of boy and girl twins in 2015.

The Backhausens are a very musical and creative family, as one could expect. James, his eldest child, is musically inclined and carries on his father's musical interests. James has a keen interest in the craft of musical composition and production, and he and his father frequently visit the recording studio. Even though the twins are still young, they are both heavily involved in the neighborhood theater and run a YouTube channel that is rapidly gaining a large audience.
